For this feature film, our studio created a range of visual effects, including sky replacement, set extensions and morphing in selected sequences. We also handled compositing and rotoscoping for several scenes, removing unwanted objects and making the adjustments needed for the final edit.
One of the most significant tasks involved digitally adding numerous balloons floating in the sea, seen from different angles. These elements, essential to the narrative, were created using 3D animation and integrated through precise camera motion tracking and carefully matched digital lighting, ensuring a seamless match between the 3D renders and the live-action footage.
