Co-produced by Lumelab
After a laser-pointer prank goes wrong, a teenager roams São Paulo through a chaotic night to save the badly injured cat of the girl he likes. Guilt and paranoia push him ever closer to breaking point.
Co-production and VFX
Lumelab joined Laser-Gato as a co-producer and also delivered the film’s visual effects and compositing.
We integrated digital elements into the shots and carried out clean-up work to remove unwanted details. Our work included chroma keying and compositing the cat in the balcony-fall sequence, as well as creating a severed head for a scene in the film.
